Looking for:
|
Desire to acquire the following:
One (1) well maintained 1977-1979 5-Speed Trans
or
Two (2) cores 1977-1979 5-Speed Trans (i.e will make one good one out of two cores)
I am not interested in any trans from 1980 and newer - sorry gearing is wrong for transplant into a 240Z.
Above are two pics of the proper tail assembly for a 1977-1979 280Z 5-Speed Trans. If there is only one mounting tab at the rear of the tail assembly then the trans is a 1980 or newer (i.e. pics show two mounts tabs on tail assembly). I am not interested in a 1980 or newer. Thanks.
Thanks, David Jacks (Fort Worth, Texas)

I've got the internals from a 1978 280z 5spd and the housing. The rear main shaft is gone. Make me an offer.
