I'm looking to sell my 280Z. I've only had her for about a week and I absolutely love her to death!.. BUT, my track car was stolen and stripped the other day so I am in need of some cash to get it back up and running =(
I purchased the car from the Christian Mission in Fresno CA. When purchased, she wasn't running and hadn't ran in about 2 years. I replaced the dropping resistors and the fuel control relay by the ECU and that did the trick. Since then I've done a full tune up. The car seems to have a slight sputter or it bogs down when you give it about 75% throttle or more. Other than that I haven't had any problems with it.
Pros:
Clean Title
82,300 miles
5spd
OEM strut bars
Really nice, straight body
Clean paint
Nice interior
H4 headlight/bulb conversion
Plastic dash cover
Recent tune up including:
*spark plugs (NGK's)
*Distributor cap/rotor
*NGK 8mm spark plug wires
*New alternator (today)
*fuel filter
*fuel pump (8 months ago)
*synthetic Mobil1 oil and Mobil1 filter
-All of the interior guages work with the exception of the fuel level.
-Minimal rust. I've noticed 3 nickel sized rust spots and a little surface rust in the engine bay on the passenger side.
Cons:
-The blinker switch is no longer working.
-The ignition coil and fuel pump are ran to a switch on the steering column (previous owner)
-NO heater or AC. (the AC compressor is there but not hooked up.

Thanks for looking.
